He stepped away briefly in 2022 to co-own a landscape maintenance company in Washington, but the dynamic, ever-changing world of mortgage sales has pulled him back in!
Born in New Jersey and raised in Richland, WA (also known as the Tri-Cities), Jaggy proudly cheers for his alma mater, Washington State University—Go Cougs! He and his wife, Ricki, have been married for 15 years and are proud parents of two children. Their family also includes Simba, a rescue pup with definite golden retriever vibes—and the shedding skills to match. Jaggy’s parents also live with them for part of the year, making for a lively, bustling household.
Outside of work, Jaggy is an enthusiastic sports lover. He played basketball at the junior college level and still enjoys playing in local leagues, as well as hitting the golf course. Physical and mental conditioning, along with spending quality time with family and friends, are among his top priorities.
Jaggy’s favorite foods include Aloo Paratha, a North Indian stuffed flatbread, pizza, and In-N-Out Burger, while his snack of choice is Cheddar and Sour Cream Ruffles, perfectly paired with a cold Wild Cherry or regular Pepsi. His family’s journey from Punjab, North India, to the U.S. in 1970 is a point of pride for him, and he cherishes the rich cultural heritage they bring. Jaggy is also a music lover, with a deep appreciation for R&B, Hip-Hop, and Folk music.

Our initial contact was with Tom Ford, and then Kristen Hall. Tom walked us through the preliminary stuff, told us what to expect, and answered all of our questions (which we had quite a few since we have not purchased a new home for 30 years). The majority of the process was handled between Kristen and our financial advisor. No major issues, and any that did occur were quickly handled by Kristen or Tom. The process was completed in time for our initial closing date.

I had a great experience working Ami at Direct Mortgage Loans. For one, she tolerated me unknowingly mispronouncing her name also she talked me through numbers while driving to the beach with her kids. I initially started working with another home mortgage company but they did not treat me as the customer and would miss our scheduled calls (I wanted to put in an offer but I could not reach my loan agent). If you're feeling lost in the process of choosing a lender, just stop, and read my story of how I went from crying outside of a rental to owning a home in one month. I had been told my credit was less than stellar by 4 other lenders and that getting approval was risky. Daryl of Direct Mortgage Loans never made me feel that way. I called while I was sitting in front of a house I thought I could never afford and told him my situation. He was understanding (and a military family himself) and said let me take your information and find you what fits best. I am now a first-time homeowner and still in disbelief. I was walked through the whole process by Daryl and never left on "read" so to speak. He has vast knowledge of the MMP program (which is what I used) and they assisted us with a down payment I wasn't sure I could come up with on my own with the minimal time I had. I found out I had 6 months to move from my long-term rental into something else and I was on month 4 of 6 months with less than two months left to find a home and move out. The rentals were scarce and nothing fit my family and I had zero time left. Thank you, Daryl and your team for getting us the ONE YES we needed to stay in this area! They texted me helpful reminders and emailed me everything I needed to help me keep track. This was literally the least stressful part of buying a home which is kind of wild! The is a very professional company. The beginning with Monica was so smooth and she is a super person to work with throughout the whole process.
