Q: Where do I start?
A: Start with talking to a licensed loan officer to determine how much home you can afford and what monthly payments will look like based on your budget. Contact our team if you need help finding a loan officer.
Q: Can I afford to buy a home?
A: Your loan officer will help determine if you qualify for a loan by reviewing your financial history with you. Then, you can either apply to get pre-approved, or discuss with your loan officer the steps you need to take as you are preparing for a home purchase in the future.

Q: What does my loan officer need for me to get approved?
A: Your will need to provide your lender the following documents:
- Copy of your Driver’s License
- Last 30 Days of Paystubs
- Last 2 Years of Tax Returns
- Last 2 Years of W2s
- Last 2 Months of Bank Statements
- Approval to pull credit
Q: When can I begin to view homes?
A: After you’ve been pre-approved, you can start house hunting! If you haven’t been pre-approved yet, download the DML App to get started.
Q: The seller accepted my offer… now what?
A: It will take about 30* days for your mortgage loan to close. Both your realtor and loan officer will be in touch to provide updates throughout the process. If any additional documentation or clarification is needed, you will be contacted. -Don’t worry! You’ll be at the closing table in no time!
