About Kimberly Brooks

Loan Officer Kimberly Books from The Camille Wilkinson Team has been in the mortgage industry since 1993, starting off as a receptionist for a Regional Mortgage Lender in Birmingham, Alabama. As her knowledge of the industry increased, she transitioned to positions in processing, servicing, closing, and originating. Kimberly’s career path took an intriguing turn when she explored other ventures, such as selling high-end greenhouses for three years and delving into Property and Casualty Insurance for two years. Eventually, her unwavering love for Mortgage Lending caused her to return to the industry.  

When asked about her favorite aspect of working in the industry, Kimberly exclaims, “I love matching homeowners with the perfect mortgage solutions.” Additionally, she takes pride in leveraging her comprehensive understanding of both the mortgage and insurance sectors, to provide her clients with an exceptional level of insight and expertise. 

Outside of her professional career, Kimberly finds joy in glamping adventures with her husband of 29 years and their beloved fur babies. She also dedicates her time to philanthropic work and volunteering. During her downtime, she can be found indulging in beachside retreats, fishing escapades, captivating reads, and embracing the festive spirit of Mardi Gras in Mobile, Alabama.
