About Karla Wienhold

Karla Wienhold has been the Director of Training & Development since 2021. After a 23-year teaching career, she shifted to a full-time role in the mortgage industry. Using her passion for teaching and her extensive knowledge of the mortgage industry, Karla supports new hires, acts as a resource to others, and assists clients as a Loan Originator.

She wears multiple hats at DML, apparent through her numerous achievements. Karla won the 2023 Mission Vision & Values (MMV) award, recognizing individuals who symbolize the company’s mission, vision, and core values. Additionally, she was named our 2022 Volunteer of the Year. Karla is a dedicated community member, volunteering at The Baltimore Hunger Project and The Junior Achievement of Central Maryland.

In her spare time, Karla loves spending time with her family, going on beach vacations, watching football, and reading romance novels. She also enjoys watching the Hallmark Channel, especially during the holidays.
