About Adam Siegelbaum
Adam joined the Chesapeake Team after working in law enforcement for approximately 8 years, and in technology sales and consulting for about 10 years. He is passionate about helping others and making a meaningful impact in his clients’ lives. “The mortgage process can be confusing at times, and I aim to make my clients comfortable. There are many different products out there and the goal is to find the best product for each individual,” Adam shared.
Adam, his wife, Katy, and their son Brayden live in Annapolis. Outside of work, Adam enjoys being on the water, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He’s an avid Washington Caps fan and tries to make it to a few games each year.

My boyfriend and I had a very stressful home search experience but Adam was phenomenal and helped alleviate some of the pain. We often needed him to work on weekends, including holiday weekends, by providing letters, and quickly. I was a micromanager as a client but he was always patient with me. He followed up with every seller’s agent after we put in an offer to let them know we were qualified as we put offers in. One sellers agent was difficult to work with and Adam handled it in stride. We put offers on a total of 5 houses and found ourselves in a very urgent situation as we were on the road to homelessness after having to pull out of a house we were under contract on. Luckily we found our dream home on 9/28 and the offer was accepted on 9/30. Then the govt shutdown happened, which impacted my boyfriend’s pay. None the less, Adam was on top of it and handled the situation so it didn’t impact our ability to close. We were cleared to close on 10/7, 3 days before we HAD to be out of my boyfriend’s house. That’s a 7 day turn around time which is phenomenal! I will definitely recommend Adam to everyone!

My title attorney recommended using a local mortgage officer vs. a large bank. I chose Adam's office and am glad I did. He was helpful, responsive, and made the approval/lending process as easy as it can be made. His mortgage processor, Kristen, was also great. She was patient, responsive, and instrumental to helping me stay organized with the required documentation.

Working with Direct Mortgage Loans for a second time was again an amazing experience. Adam was very professional, patient, and worked really hard to get me this loan for the house of my dreams. He and several others had to jump through hoops to make sure this happened, which was not easy. Throughout the process, Adam and his team eased my worries and got my loan finalized in record timing. He worked around the clock and used updated technology platforms to get the proper signatures, paperwork, etc. needed to get the deal done. He is also very friendly and personable which shows he truly cares for his clients. Our loan processor, Kristin, was a blessing also. My wife and I have been looking into buying a house for 2 years now. Due to the market we kept holding off and having to restart.
