About John Pawelski

John Pawelski, Branch Manager of The Pawelski Team, brings 19 years of law enforcement experience as a second-generation police officer. He entered the real estate industry in 2015 and transitioned to the mortgage sector in 2019. His team of expert Loan Officers, all first responders themselves, share his dedication to serving others. Their decision to partner with DML stems from Direct Mortgage Loans’ commitment to supporting first responders and the military, reflected in DML’s principles, infrastructure, and support systems. 

Outside of his professional life, John is a devoted father and proud owner of three dogs, two rabbits, and two hamsters. He’s also a passionate cook and actively engaged in his community. John serves on the boards of both the Miami Valley Crime Prevention Association and the Ohio Crime Prevention Association. Furthermore, he’s a co-founder of the Hero House Project, an organization focused on providing financial assistance to first responders and military personnel.
