Over the four months that it took us to go from pre-approval to closing, Direct Mortgage exceeded our expectations. 1. Advocating for us - When working with would-be sellers, Direct Mortgage was proactive in supporting us with pre-approval letters, turning these around quickly. They would answer any questions from the sellers; I never worried about Direct Mortgage being slow to respond. Their team vouched for us as buyers, which gave us strong offer packages, and contributed to our success.
2. Sophisticated use of data and technology - The emails we received from Direct Mortgage were helpful without being overbearing; their online portal was easy to navigate. Our initial contact was with Tom Ford, and then Kristen Hall. Tom walked us through the preliminary stuff, told us what to expect, and answered all of our questions (which we had quite a few since we have not purchased a new home for 30 years). The majority of the process was handled between Kristen and our financial advisor. No major issues, and any that did occur were quickly handled by Kristen or Tom. The process was completed in time for our initial closing date.

I had a great experience working Ami at Direct Mortgage Loans. For one, she tolerated me unknowingly mispronouncing her name also she talked me through numbers while driving to the beach with her kids. I initially started working with another home mortgage company but they did not treat me as the customer and would miss our scheduled calls (I wanted to put in an offer but I could not reach my loan agent). If you're feeling lost in the process of choosing a lender, just stop, and read my story of how I went from crying outside of a rental to owning a home in one month. I had been told my credit was less than stellar by 4 other lenders and that getting approval was risky. Daryl of Direct Mortgage Loans never made me feel that way. I called while I was sitting in front of a house I thought I could never afford and told him my situation. He was understanding (and a military family himself) and said let me take your information and find you what fits best. I am now a first-time homeowner and still in disbelief. I was walked through the whole process by Daryl and never left on "read" so to speak. He has vast knowledge of the MMP program (which is what I used) and they assisted us with a down payment I wasn't sure I could come up with on my own with the minimal time I had. I found out I had 6 months to move from my long-term rental into something else and I was on month 4 of 6 months with less than two months left to find a home and move out. The rentals were scarce and nothing fit my family and I had zero time left. Thank you, Daryl and your team for getting us the ONE YES we needed to stay in this area! We appreciate you and we'll be sending everyone your way!

Direct Mortgage is a great company. I worked with a few people but my loan officer was great Ms Angela and she was a sweet heart so amazing to work with, she help me in every step of the way to purchase my new home. Gina DeCicco and Rebekah Graham were the most amazing team. I have worked in the real estate industry for 22 years and we had a clear to close in 12 days which is unheard of. Not only that, we had to sell our house at the same time and they assisted our buyers as well!!! Another CTC in 3 weeks!!! Kevin was our loan officer and was so readily available to answer all of our questions, and put things in more “simple” terms for us since we had no experience ever taking out a loan on anything. He never made us feel rushed or stressed because of how much we didn’t know - he always was happy to answer our questions and address our concerns. So happy with the service from DML!

We started our journey with Direct Mortgage Loans not knowing if we'd be able to accomplish a dream we had. We are a large family on a single income that isn't grand by any means. Direct mortgage lending company is a comprehensive wraparound service that provided us with support from beginning to end in the procedures of pursuing our new home. 11/10 for the group at DML. Savannah and Cynthia were my team and they made the entire process as painless as possible. They texted me helpful reminders and emailed me everything I needed to help me keep track. This was literally the least stressful part of buying a home which is kind of wild! I'm a single mom so the home shopping and buying process was overwhelming but I had these two amazing women cheering me on in the background and I wish they could help me with everything!
