In 2001, Chris Corno was just beginning his career in the mortgage industry. At the time, he was a Loan Originator for a small local lender. As his career progressed, Chris was promoted to Branch Manager, before deciding to further his career in operations as a Senior Processor/Junior Underwriter. In 2021, Chris joined Direct Mortgage Loans as our Sr. Underwriting Assistant thanks to a referral from DML’s Underwriting Operations Manager, Rick Phillips.
Chis has “always enjoyed assisting clients to achieve their financial goals to obtain homeownership,” and is proud to be a part of making this happen with the DML team. Chris states, “I feel fortunate to be a part of a company where I can achieve my career goals in a nurturing environment.”
Outside of work, Chris supports a variety of national organizations who support raising awareness of domestic violence and child abuse. On a local level, he volunteers at The Salvation Army during the holiday seasons, and sorts through clothing once a month to assist the Winchester Clothing & Shoe Drive.
