Billy Apostolou has been in the mortgage industry for three and a half years. Before entering the industry, he spent five and a half years with a real estate settlement/ title company. It seemed to be destiny that Billy would join the DML family, as his favorite color is orange – even his childhood bedroom was orange!
Being a part of the home buying process is what Billy loves about the mortgage industry. He states, “The home purchase is one of, if not the biggest, transactions a person or family will make. Being a part of making sure that process is memorable is incredible to me. In today’s crazy real estate market, it is even more important we handle the transaction with as much grace, understanding and care as we can, to allow this purchase to be one to remember!”
Outside of work, Billy supports various local charities including, the Baltimore Hunger Project where he helps package and deliver lunches to local schools for children in need. Additionally, he is a member of the Ocean City Chamber of Commerce, and serves as a Board of Director Member, and is Chair of the Young Professionals Group. Every year each board member participates in the annual “Christmas Spirit Challenge” – donating wrapped toys to assist families with the holiday season!
