Senior Loan Officer, Katie Sheats of The Chesapeake Team has been in the mortgage industry since 1985. Katie was newly married and had just moved to Delaware. Her new neighbor recently started with a new mortgage company and needed someone to help answer the phone. Since then, the rest is history.
Katie loves her career because it allows her to help others achieve the American Dream of homeownership. Whether she’s helping a first-time homebuyer, second home, or investment borrower, every loan and situation is unique, and she enjoys getting the opportunity to meet with so many different types of people from varying walks of life. Outside of work, Katie is involved in a local service sorority that volunteers and fundraises to support needy children and families in lower Delaware.
