Branch Manager, Ron Steele of The Chesapeake Team of Direct Mortgage Loans started his journey in the mortgage industry 30 years ago. What he loves most about this line of work is that it allows him to help others achieve the “American Dream’ of homeownership while making lifelong friendships along the way.
Additionally, Ron and his friends run a two-day golf and poker tournament every May to honor his brother Mickey who passed away from leukemia. In all, these tournaments have raised almost $2,000,000 for several charities including the Special Olympics of Maryland. The Special Olympics of Maryland has always held a special place in his family’s heart since his mother was a Special Needs teacher’s assistant for 15 years.
Outside of work, you can find Ron traveling, enjoying meals at delicious restaurants, hanging out with his family, and sneaking in a round of golf whenever he can. He also enjoys spending time on the water on the Eastern Shore where he resides with his family.
