Our initial contact was with Tom Ford, and then Kristen Hall. Tom walked us through the preliminary stuff, told us what to expect, and answered all of our questions (which we had quite a few since we have not purchased a new home for 30 years). The majority of the process was handled between Kristen and our financial advisor. No major issues, and any that did occur were quickly handled by Kristen or Tom. The process was completed in time for our initial closing date.
Everyone i worked with was super helpful and encouraging! They explained the process all the way through. I never felt pressured at all. The service and experience were invaluable assets and I am so grateful to the entire staff. PS Blake is awesome.

For one, she tolerated me unknowingly mispronouncing her name also she talked me through numbers while driving to the beach with her kids. I initially started working with another home mortgage company but they did not treat me as the customer and would miss our scheduled calls (I wanted to put in an offer but I could not reach my loan agent). If you're feeling lost in the process of choosing a lender, just stop, and read my story of how I went from crying outside of a rental to owning a home in one month. I had been told my credit was less than stellar by 4 other lenders and that getting approval was risky. Daryl of Direct Mortgage Loans never made me feel that way. I called while I was sitting in front of a house I thought I could never afford and told him my situation. He was understanding (and a military family himself) and said let me take your information and find you what fits best. I am now a first-time homeowner and still in disbelief. I was walked through the whole process by Daryl and never left on "read" so to speak. He has vast knowledge of the MMP program (which is what I used) and they assisted us with a down payment I wasn't sure I could come up with on my own with the minimal time I had. I found out I had 6 months to move from my long-term rental into something else and I was on month 4 of 6 months with less than two months left to find a home and move out. The rentals were scarce and nothing fit my family and I had zero time left. Thank you, Daryl and your team for getting us the ONE YES we needed to stay in this area! The is a very professional company. The beginning with Monica was so smooth and she is a super person to work with throughout the whole process.
