I called Kendall W. Doroshewitz at Direct Mortgage Loans based on a recommendation from my realtor, and I am SO glad I did. From the very first conversation, I knew I was in good hands. Kendall ran numbers like Rain Man 😂 (#WomenInStem #IYKYK) and somehow found programs and options I didn’t even know existed. She took the time to explain everything, answered my MANY questions, and made what could have been an overwhelming process feel manageable.
And here’s the part that still amazes me: I called Kendall and was approved THAT SAME DAY. By that weekend, I was out looking at houses!
Kendall was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping me make my home purchase happen. She didn’t just disappear once the paperwork was signed, either. She came to my settlement, brought me a thoughtful gift, and even reached out after closing to make sure I didn’t need anything else. That kind of personal touch says so much about the person she is.
Buying a home is a HUGE deal, and having someone like Kendall in your corner makes all the difference. She went above and beyond from start to finish, and I cannot recommend her enough.

Kendall was faster and more diligent than any Loan Officer we've ever had the pleasure of working with. Ten times out of ten she went above and beyond, including nights and weekends, to ensure we had what we needed (pre-approval, clarification on any questions, ...) throughout the entire process. Early on I was shopping for competitive quotes directly with a big bank, but quickly learned how "hands off" that experience would be. We missed getting locked in at a slightly lower rate, but the market changed quickly, and Kendall did what she could to help with that as well (e.g. helping us find savings over our current insurance company).

First time buying a house. DML made it simple in the long run. But we had to ask a lot of questions. They were good and took the time to explain things when we asked. I would have liked a walk through of the steps in the beginning to include costs.I recommend “Buying a house for dummies”. I finally broke down to buy that book and gain some knowledge.
