Stephanie Henkelman is the Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Leadership Team at Direct Mortgage Loans. With nine years of experience in the mortgage industry and a background in public accounting, she is passionate about providing financial leadership to help set DML up for financial success and growth opportunities. She finds the most fulfillment in hearing stories from borrowers who thought homeownership was out of reach but were able to achieve it with the help of DML.
Stephanie enjoys the dynamic nature of the industry, stating, “No two days or two years are ever the same, and there are always new challenges to tackle. Every year I have worked for DML has been wildly different from the one before it; Every day is an adventure for sure.”
Additionally, she wanted to take a moment to recognize Tonisty and Samantha for their contributions to creating world-class financial reporting and benchmarking. She attributes much of her accounting team’s success to these amazing individuals and is proud to work alongside them. In her free time, Stephanie volunteers at her daughter’s school as a “room mom” and spends time in the classroom working with the children once or twice a month.
