Karala Wienhold

After being a teacher for 23 years, and spending her summers with Direct Mortgage Loans, Karla made the decision to join the #DMLfamily full-time as the Director of Training & Development. Her background in teaching, working in multiple departments, on top of being a licensed Loan Officer, has curated Karla’s drive to make DML’s training and development top notch. She loves that there is always room to learn and grow in the mortgage industry, and enjoys the opportunity to build relationships with peers, and those in the industry.

Outside of work, Karla enjoys supporting the Junior Achievement of Central Maryland – an organization that promotes financial literacy with students K-12.

Since joining DML full-time, Karla has received many shout outs for her outstanding workmanship, and dedication to helping others learn. We are so grateful to have her in our DML family!
